Sephora and I have a baby shower coming up and I really wanted to make the gifts this time.
I made a matching set of:
4 Facecloths
4 Burp Cloths
1 Flannel Blanket
and then an additional Winnie The Pooh Fleece Blanket
This set makes me want to make a set of personalized facecloths for my kids. Maybe eventually - there are a great number of sewing projects in the queue already.
Each article is made exactly the same just with different measurements. (no criticizing the folding job)....
Cut two same size pieces of fabric - for example 12x12 for the facecloths. With right sides facing, sew all the way around within 1/4 inch of edge. Stop with 3 inches remaining. Pull through the 3 inch opening and turn the article right side out - making sure to push each corner out fully. Then top stitch 1/4 inch all the way around while folding in the 3 inch section to include it in the top stitching.
Same process for the burp cloths - I just did 30 x 12.
The flannel blanket - 30 x 60
The fleece blanket - 30 x 72
