The plates have a starburst design and the candlestick is an elegant glass. For $3, plus a little E6000 glue – make your own cupcake towers to keep, give as gifts, or leave with your hostess when you attend a gathering.
Simply put some E6000 glue around the bottom lip and top lip of the candlestick, place on top of the center of the bottom plate and beneath the center of the upper plate. Allow a full 48 hours to fully dry.

GREAT idea! I love it and that way you don't have to worry about plates toppling over! PLEASE come post at my place on Wednesday and share with my group!

Very cute! I love dollar store projects! Stopping by from Talent Show Tuesday.
Such a great idea, I've made cake plates but not cupcake towers. But now that I have the inspiration i will be tackling soon. And a dollar store project, love those. Thanks for sharing all your creative inspiration at Sunday's Best party!
Hi Athena, I've seen quite a few people making their own cupcake stands but I don't think I've ever seen any so pretty. That's so clever. I'm always on the lookout for fast, frugal, fantastic ideas. I have my own linky party here in Australia every week called "Thriving on Thursdays" and would love for you to link this idea up (and any others you'd like).
