EatSmart Digital Kitchen Scale Giveaway

Hosted by Momma Lew's Blog

When a person embarks on a weight loss journey they usually invest their money in many products such as a gym membership, a scale, weights, etc.  But, the one thing I usually see many of my peers forgetting to purchase is a kitchen scale!  One of the biggest diet sabotagers is eating what you think is the right amount of food and then finding out that in fact you may have eaten as much as double your daily allowance!  I remember years ago when I followed Weight Watchers, talking about apples.  While a small apple (149g) has only 78 calories, a large apple (223g) can have close to 120 calories!  And just like everything in the store today being extra large, apples are no exception.  When you are keeping a close eye on your daily calorie intake, being confident in the size and portion of your food is vital!  The Eat Smart Precision Elite Digital Kitchen Scale is the type of product you need to use to rely on complete accuracy!

The Eat Smart Precision Elite is the newest of Eat Smart's products.  I really like it's sleek silver design, making it a stylish accessory to your kitchen counter.  I always keep my scale on the counter, doing so allows for quick & easy access when I am cooking or baking!  The Precision Elite features:
  • EatSmart Precision Elite Accuracy Technology,
  • Easy 2 button operation,
  • Tare Feature - subtraction the weight of any plate or container,
  • Backlit LCD Display, making it very easy to read,
  • Durable & large stainless steel platform,
  • 4 measurement modes:  grams, ounces, kilograms & pounds,
  • Can hold up to 15 pounds and is accurate to +/- .1oz,
  • 3 minute auto-turnoff,
  • Includes 4 AAA batteries
  • FREE Calorie Factors Book

Do Your Kids Love Rings?

My kids LOVE rings.  My son can tell you which candy machines at which department stores have the best rings as prizes...

This is a really easy way to make rings - I made Pebble for my daughter and Fred Flintstone for my son.  You just need the fabric button blanks and a ring blank.  Use some scraps of fabric and there you have it...

I simply used a fabric button (Pebbles), a button blank and a glue gun... You can't get much easier.

FROZEN releases in theatres in 3D on November 27, 2013!

Walt Disney Animation Studios, the studio behind “Tangled” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” presents “Frozen,” a stunning big-screen comedy adventure. Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom. The film is directed by Chris Buck (“Tarzan,” “Surf’s Up”) and Jennifer Lee (screenwriter, “Wreck-It Ralph”), and produced by Peter Del Vecho (“Winnie the Pooh,” “The Princess and the Frog”). Featuring music from Tony® winner Robert Lopez (“The Book of Mormon,” “Avenue Q”) and Kristen Anderson-Lopez (“In Transit”), “Frozen” is in theaters in 3D on November 27, 2013.
